Donald Trump conducted an interview on Mama Grizzly Radio earlier this week, a station that CNN describes as offering "24-hour news about Palin and issues related to her." And perhaps the occasional Taylor Swift song, just to keep listeners on their toes. Now perhaps understandably in this context, Trump had lots of nice things to say about the former Alaska governor and vice president candidate.

"She's a special person," Trump said, and "somebody who knows what's happening." He noted their shared status as political lightning rods, to put it politely — "Like me, she's got people that don't exactly love us and we understand who they are," he noted, later contradicting himself in quintessential Trump form by saying that "everybody loves her." "I still have people saying, 'Get Sarah's support! Get Sarah's support!' no matter where I go," he continued. "She has a tremendously loyal group of people out there for her." (So does he, it's worth noting — Trump is currently a frontrunner in many of the GOP nomination polls.)

And this is where things get crazy exciting, or just flat-out crazy depending on your perspective. Asked about the prospect of Sarah Palin in his administration should his presidential bid be successful, Trump said he'd "love that." He did not confirm which role(s) he would consider her for, but she's already been vetted for the veep spot, let's remember! (Or has she?) After all, perhaps the only thing better than a Trump/Palin ticket would be a Trump/Kardashian one, and sadly that's not going to happen because Donald was really mean to Khloé that one time on The Celebrity Apprentice.

In conclusion, here's a photo of Donald and Sarah enjoying some pizza together
