One Direction stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night, and at the behest of Jimmy, attempted to take the cutest selfie ever. They more or less succeeded, and not just on the strength of their good looks. Jimmy brought out stuffed animals, two kittens in a big teacup, twin ballerinas, the real-life Boo the dog, a baby dressed as a cherry, a pony dressed as a unicorn, and his own nephew dressed as a mini Harry Styles. It was a lot of cuteness in one place, particularly when regular-sized Harry started posing with mini Harry. Gird your ovaries, ladies.

Before all that, 1D talked about the weirdest gifts they had ever received from fans. These included a live hermit crab and a set of googly-eyed mushrooms dressed up in One Direction outfits. The bar has been set pretty high, people who are thinking about sending them something unique for Christmas.
