Jamie Dornan spoke with British newspaper The Guardian earlier this week and may well have suggested he's done playing Christian Grey already. Or at least that he wishes he were, sort of? On the subject of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie specifically, Dornan told The Guardian's reporter, "I don't think I'm allowed to say anything," but he did discuss the similarities between Grey and the serial killer he plays in British TV drama series The Fall. They both tie women up, you see (though in one case it's for sex, and in the other it's for death). He's learned some valuable skills — "classic knots," he says — but he's ready to move on now. And, "in fact, I'd like to do a job where I don't have to tie women to beds." He didn't clarify whether he'd suck it up and keep on trucking, S&M-style, for the inevitable Fifty Shades movie sequels, or whether Christian could come over all vanilla on screen so that he doesn't feel like he's getting typecast/rope burn.

Dornan also said he hates being labeled as an underwear model, and, I mean, that's certainly a tough cross to bear. Fortunately, he seems to be strong and well-defined enough to manage.
