The Bloomingdale, Illinois, Police Department received a call Friday about a 21-year-old mentally disabled woman who'd wandered away from home. The above video, originally posted on the department's Facebook page, shows one of their officers escorting her home.

The woman was visibly scared and shaken when Officer Giovenco found her, and she did not want to come with the police, the Department reported. Giovenco was able to calm her by suggesting they walk the "trails" home together. She agreed, and he held her hand the entire way.

The video is nothing more than the two of them walking in silence, but it's worth watching. There's nothing more cathartic than seeing that there is good in the world with your very own eyes.
