American Eagle's lingerie and swimwear line, Aerie, is celebrating curve appeal in the best way ever and I am totally here for it. The brand included self-proclaimed "curve model" and "Queen of In-Between" Barbie Ferreira with four other women of different shapes and sizes in the new #AerieREAL campaign.

For the past two years, #AerieREAL has been celebrating women's naturally beautiful bodies; there is no Photoshopping or retouching in their ads.

In a video for the campaign, Ferreira, who's a size 12, shows off what she was born with in the most unapologetic way ever, giving so much life in a pink strappy bikini.

"Not being retouched in the images is something that's very important to me," Ferreira says in the video. "People knowing that's what I look like without anyone's perception of what my body needs to look like."

In a past interview with Vice, Ferreira talked about how, growing up, she didn't have any curvy models to look up to and expressed her opinion on the term "plus-size," which she believes is flawed.

Ferreira's final words in the ad teaser might arguably be the realest statement of the year yet: "The world needs more women who are strong." You can say that again, girl!

I’m Maya, Cosmpolitan.com’s fashion and beauty assistant. When I’m not home alone dancing in the mirror to my fave song, I’m probs fawning over the latest shoes to add to my online shopping cart or sitting at my makeup vanity (aka the best place on earth) rummaging through my massive lipstick collection. Basically, I think all women are flawless and should believe it. We run the world, duh!
