A baby's incessant crying can make a new parent want to crawl under a pillow and then take that pillow into a soundproof room and then shoot that room to Mars and then hopefully explode into a fiery-yet-somehow-more-peaceful end. But good news! Pediatrician Robert Hamilton deals with screaming babies all day every day, and he has created a saucy little move to calm them that he calls "The Hold" but that the Internet is calling "baby twerking."

All you do is cross the baby's arms over its chest, cup its chin with one hand, and twerk its little booty with your other hand. Based on his demonstration, about 2 seconds of twerking silences even the screamingest baby. Watch Dr. Hamilton completely soothe several crying babies who just got shots in the video above, and amaze your friends and family with this trick at parties.
