Today in "celebrities do the same dumb stuff that you do," Taylor Swift went for a walk in NYC wearing pants with the tag still attached (via Gawker). In case you wanted to know what that tiny harbinger of public embarrassment actually says, the blog Taylor Swift Style has helpfully discovered that the jeans are AG Adriano Goldschmied, originally priced $168, but currently marked down to $99. Depending on when T-Swift purchased these pants, one may also deduce that she is sometimes a budget shopper. It's a good strategy, Taylor. Just because you could buy $1000 pants every day doesn't mean you should.
In other Taylor news, on Wednesday, she posted a video blog revealing further details about that bridal shower she attended over the weekend. In the clip, Taylor says she had never attended a bridal shower prior to Gena's, and there's a nice reaction shot of the bride seeing Taylor for the first time. Much like one of Taylor's lyrics, she looks happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time. OK, maybe not lonely — more like shocked, awed, and not totally sure that this is her real life.
