A woman named Meryem Ali is suing Facebook for $123 million because they neglected to take down Photoshopped nude photos of her posted by an old friend of hers [via RT. The suit alleges that the friend, Adeel Shah Khan, used Ali's name to create a fake account and then posted pictures of her Photoshopped onto "phony, naked body shots" and "depicted [her] in a clearly derogatory and false light."

Ali feels Facebook didn't take the pictures down fast enough, even though she flagged them multiple times. And the reason she's suing them for $123 million isn't because she likes her sums in ascending order. It's because that's 10 cents for every one of Facebook's 1.23 billion users who may have seen the images. Ali's lawyers believe it's a very serious situation specifically because Facebook didn't take Ali's complaints seriously when her privacy was violated.
