On Monday night, rapper Lil B tweeted that he might start calling himself a trans woman so he could start spending time in women's locker rooms.

Almost immediately, his fans began calling him out for being transphobic. He started retweeting people who were upset with him and then began apologizing for the comment. His apology took form over several tweets, many of which acknowledged that he is transphobic and that he has much to learn about the transgender community: 

As of now, Lil B continues to retweet fans who are hurt by his comments, but supportive of him and his apology.
