It's April 1, so be careful what you read. Anything that seems too good to be true is probably just that. But John Green fans didn't take time differences into account when they saw what could be amazing news.

Penguin Teen Australia, Green's book publisher, tweeted that he had come out with a brand new e-book, Not in the Stars, to Hold Our Destiny. The story would follow Augustus Waters and Caroline Mathers, in what seemingly would be a prequel to The Fault in Our Stars. (Caroline died of cancer while she was dating Augustus.)

Though it was April 1 in Australia, it was only the afternoon of March 31 in the United States. So people. Freaked. Out. John Green had to calm everyone down and remind fans what day it was in some parts of the world. He even said several of his publishers fell for it!

About an hour later, the publisher fessed up: "We drink fan-girl tears for breakfast," the company wrote. They noted that their faked title is a quote from the Shakespeare play Julius Caesar, just like The Fault in Our Stars.

So sadly, we won't get to see this story be told anytime soon. But hey, here's hoping it gave Green some ideas!
