The fiancé of Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans was arrested Wednesday on charges of domestic violence that reportedly involved her. According to WBTW, Nathan Griffith was arrested around 4 p.m. at the couple's home in Socastee, South Carolina.

"There was some kind of physical assault — although it may have been minor," Lt. Raul Denis of the Horry County Police told WBTW reporters. Police said they were also called to the couple's home earlier that morning, around 4:45 a.m., but no arrests were made at that time.

The couple, parents to toddler Kaiser, have had previous run-ins with law enforcement. In February, Jenelle was arrested for driving without a license. She was previously arrested for drug possesion, stalking, harassment, breaking and entering, driving under the influence, and more. Nathan was previously charged for driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

Us Weekly reports Jenelle also skipped a court custody hearing involving her other child, Jace, who remains in the care of her mother, Barbara Evans. WBTW also reports cameras from MTV were recently at the couple's home to film new scenes for the new season of Teen Mom 2.

Nathan and Jenelle got engaged in January after dating for two years.
