Marc Anthony is already a successful salsa star but now he's adding "business mogul" to his résumé with his latest venture.

Marc is launching Magnus Media, an entertainment company that will help up-and-coming Latino artists, Vine stars, and YouTube sensations get their foot in the music industry, he told Billboard.

The company will be based in Miami and is a partnership between Marc and Michael Vega, the former head of Latin music at William Morris.

"Magnus is a company that is long overdue," Marc said in a statement. "Latino artists are among some of the world's biggest brands. Unfortunately though, many of my colleagues, and new artists coming up, too, haven't had the support to turn that influence into long-term businesses that build value. We're going to change the game, and have a lot of fun doing it."

Billboard asked Vega if he thought the duo would be the ones to create the next Jane the Virgin or Empire, and while he didn't definitively say whether they'd be getting into the TV business, he didn't rule the possibility out either.

"I don't think anything is crazy right now," he said. "There is a lot of excitement and there are some amazing ideas that we're exploring. The great thing is that we're not opposed to any great idea."
