A plastic surgeon's body-shaming billboard was vandalized with a more positive message over the weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan [via The Independent.

The billboard, above, reads, "Friends don't let friends muffin top," before the words, "You're beautiful!" were spray-painted over it.

The practice put the billboard up in May and, after facing online criticism, released a statement on its Facebook page saying, "It's simply to get people to chuckle. Try to see the lighter side of this ad."

This isn't the first time its ads have been called out for body-shaming.

In April, the practice took down another billboard that said "Size Matters," referencing a woman's cup size, after complaints from Facebook fans and community members. In a statement issued on its Facebook page, it apologized for offending anyone and said it would replace the billboard with a new one.

The practice's new billboard turned out to be the muffin-top advertisement. And if the vandalism is any sign, it doesn't seem as if residents approve of the new billboard any more than the last one.
