I can't fault Friends, more or less. Give or take a few weird story lines ("The One With the Inappropriate Sister," I'm looking at you) and a couple of fake Monicas and Rachels along the way, it's basically perfection, in my eyes.
Well that's what I thought, until the following was brought to my attention by HelloGiggles, and now I'm concerned I'll never be able to un-see it.
Monica's apartment barely changes throughout the 10 seasons, because — aside from one brief stint over at Joey and Chandler's following the loss of a bet — she doesn't move. But there's something that does change: the scene outside her kitchen window.
Come on, you guys, what about continuity? Take a look at what I mean...
So here's Monica's kitchen, with a view of ... not very much. A brick wall, basically.
Oh wait, now there's a brick wall and a bit of window? That wasn't there before.
Is there a clothesline there now? Or what is that?
And here, it looks like the buildings are a lot farther away from Monica's apartment than they were previously.
Aaaaand ... the brick wall is back.
Oh yeah, and then right at the end, in the very last episode, it looks like a cardboard wall.
What was going on with that window, Friends-makers?!
