After a Cosmopolitan.com staffer was heartbroken to hear she couldn't get her bagel breakfast at her Starbucks this morning because "all [their] bagels are recalled," I reached out to Starbucks to ask if the brand-wide bagel recall rumor was true.

A Starbucks representative confirmed to Cosmopolitan.com the chain is currently experiencing a "temporary outage" of plain, multigrain, everything, and blueberry bagels due to "quality issues."

Starbucks is working closely with its bagel suppliers to get bagels back in stores, though there is no word yet on when that will happen (this post will be updated with more information as it becomes available).

Don't worry, Starbucks (breakfast) lovers. Starbucks promises there are no issues with any of the food available in stores and that "Starbucks apologizes to our customers for the inconvenience."
