Party dress? Check! Holiday makeup and hair looks? Check, check! Now, what do to with your nails? Try this chic champagne mani, of course.

Nail artist Simcha Whitehill aka Miss Pop shows and tells Cosmo exactly how to copy it.

1. Prep and paint. "After you've filed your nails into the desired shape, pushed back your cuticles" — remember, DO NOT CUT THEM! — "and applied a basecoat, paint your nails with a gold polish," Whitehill says. "This will mimic champagne's yellow-y gold shade." Hand model and Cosmopolitan.com's managing editor Alie Martell used Essie Nail Polish in Shifting Power.

2. Create tiny air bubbles. "Using a striper brush, which you can get at any art supply store — and a silver glitter polish with super small shimmer, start in line with where the moon of your nail would be and begin to draw thin lines of "bubbles" from there toward the tip of your nail," she says. Here, Alie used Nails Inc. Electric Avenue.

3. Fabricate fizz. "Dab some extra glitter along the top of the nail, using the polish from step two and your striper brush, to make it look like the tip of your nail is the top of the champagne glass where all of the fizz is," Whitehill adds.

4. Make some bigger bubbles. "With a clear polish that contains larger silver glitter chunks, swipe the paint over your entire nail, but then focus the glitter more toward the top of the nail to accentuate the air bubbles there," Whitehill says. Alie used Orly Holy Holo! Glitter Polish. "Then, finish with your favorite top coat."

Here's to having the coolest nails whilst holding a glass of champagne. Cheers!

Carly Cardellino was the beauty director at Cosmopolitan. If you follow her Instagram, then you know she'll try just about any beauty trend or treatment once (the pics of her purple hair are on IG to prove it). But her favorite part about being in beauty is finding the most effective products, and then sharing that intel with others—because who wants to spend money on stuff that doesn't work? No one, that's who. Her most recent discovery: De La Cruz Sulfur Ointment, which will change your blemish-clearing game! Hopefully through the beauty stories she writes—and the experiences she shares—you can see exactly why she's in this business.
